Agricultural Disputes Solicitor (NQ to 4PQE) – Up to £82k – Bristol

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Agricultural Disputes Solicitor to join our nationally recognised Agriculture & Estates team in Bristol. The position offers exposure to complex, specialist agricultural litigation and the chance to develop expertise across a range of rural legal matters.

Key responsibilities

• Handle farming partnership and succession disputes.
• Manage proprietary estoppel claims.
• Advise on agricultural landlord‑tenant matters, including AHA and ATA issues.
• Resolve rights‑of‑way, boundary and restrictive covenant disputes.
• Deal with contractual disagreements and public‑law challenges affecting the rural sector.

Required profile

• Qualified solicitor, NQ to 4PQE, with a genuine interest in agriculture and rural law.
• Experience in litigation or property disputes is desirable.
• Strong analytical and drafting abilities.
• Ability to work sensitively with family‑owned businesses and landed estates.

Required skills

• Legal research and case analysis.
• Drafting of pleadings, statements and contractual documents.
• Negotiation and client communication in a litigation context.
