Agricultural Service Technician

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Agricultural Service Technician to join our engineering team. The role involves travelling across the North Yorkshire area and working from our workshop to deliver planned and reactive maintenance on sophisticated agricultural machinery.

Key responsibilities

• Perform electrical and mechanical fault‑finding on a range of farm and plant equipment.
• Carry out scheduled preventative maintenance and urgent repairs on site and in the workshop.
• Document service activities and communicate findings to customers.
• Travel to multiple customer locations, ensuring timely response to service calls.

Required profile

• Proven experience in agriculture or plant engineering environments.
• Hands‑on experience with electrical and mechanical fault‑finding.
• Relevant engineering qualification, preferably in light or heavy vehicle technology.
• Willingness to travel regularly to customer sites.
