AI Director – Lead AI Transformation Programs

About the role

The AI Director will spearhead AI‑led transformation programmes for a global consulting firm. Reporting to senior leadership, you will work directly with C‑suite stakeholders to shape AI strategy, develop market‑ready solutions and oversee delivery of secure, scalable AI services.

Key responsibilities

• Lead sales origination and business development across strategic accounts.
• Design and launch innovative Generative AI and LLM solutions that address industry challenges.
• Engage senior executives, translating AI capabilities into measurable business outcomes.
• Direct delivery of complex AI programmes, overseeing solution architecture and implementation.
• Ensure responsible, compliant AI deployment with governance and risk management.
• Build, mentor and lead high‑performing consulting teams while maintaining commercial performance.

Required profile

• Strong commercial understanding of the modern AI ecosystem.
• Proven experience delivering enterprise‑scale AI solutions and owning delivery outcomes.
• Knowledge of major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and associated AI services.
• Excellent communication skills for senior business and technology audiences.
• Leadership, stakeholder management and a collaborative, adaptable approach.
