AI Systems Engineer (Agentic)

About the role

We are partnering with a fast‑growing enterprise software business in the SAP sector to hire an AI Systems Engineer who will shape how agentic AI is embedded across the organisation. The role is hybrid, based in Bracknell, and offers the chance to design and build AI‑driven workflows that connect engineering, QA, delivery, sales and customer‑facing teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement agentic AI workflows that span the full product lifecycle.
• Automate handoffs between engineering, QA, delivery and sales through MCP integrations and API layers.
• Evaluate, standardise and govern AI tooling across the company.
• Identify opportunities where AI can reduce friction, duplication and improve decision‑making.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, delivery and commercial teams to align on shared platforms and patterns.

Required profile

• Proven experience building production AI/ML systems.
• Strong background with agentic AI patterns (multi‑step workflows, tool use, state, guardrails).
• Experience with MCP or similar AI integration approaches.
• Ability to work across multiple teams and thrive in ambiguous environments.
