Air Conditioning Installation Engineer

About the role

We are seeking an Air Conditioning Installation Engineer to join a leading Oxford‑based contractor specialising in commercial cooling and refrigeration. The role involves installing a variety of air‑conditioning and refrigeration systems across the Thames Valley.

Key responsibilities

• Install commercial air‑conditioning units, including splits, multi‑splits, VRV/VRF and DX systems.
• Fit small water chillers (up to ~200 kW) and service walk‑in cold rooms, fridges and freezers.
• Travel across Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Hertfordshire, Middlesex and Oxfordshire to complete installations and call‑outs.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with health and safety standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience installing commercial air‑conditioning and refrigeration equipment.
• Residence in or near the Thames Valley area.
• Valid F‑Gas certificate; C&G Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Level 2 is preferred.
• Strong pipe‑work and controls knowledge.
