AML Financial Crime Associate – KYC Periodic Review (Hybrid)

About the role

This temporary position supports a leading financial institution in delivering KYC periodic reviews for Japanese corporate clients. Working in a hybrid setting, you will act as the central point of contact for document collection and client communication, ensuring compliance with AML/CTF standards.

Key responsibilities

• Submit records for KYC periodic reviews, adhering to AML/CTF regulations.
• Collect and verify client documentation, acting as the primary liaison.
• Enter and maintain accurate data in KYC systems (ACCORD & EIC).
• Collaborate with FCMO analysts and Relationship Managers to progress reviews.
• Escalate issues to the pod leader and support the Periodic Review Team Manager.
• Prepare Management Information (MI) reports and contribute to process‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Solid understanding of KYC regulatory frameworks and internal policies.
• Experience working with Relationship Managers on KYC files.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Japanese.
• Team‑oriented mindset with a proactive approach to problem solving.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ACCORD system.
• Proficiency with EIC system.
