Android Developer – Kotlin & Jetpack Compose

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Android Developer to design, build and maintain high‑quality Android applications. You will work in a hybrid environment, collaborating with product, UX/UI, QA and backend teams to deliver robust features.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain Android apps using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define and implement new features.
• Participate in architectural discussions and make technical decisions.
• Write clean, reusable, testable and scalable code following best practices.
• Use GitLab for version control, CI/CD pipelines, merge requests and code reviews.
• Optimize app performance, memory usage and responsiveness.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues to ensure stability.
• Stay up‑to‑date with Android frameworks, tools and industry trends.
• Mentor junior developers throughout the project lifecycle.

Required profile

• 4+ years of professional Android development experience (mid‑senior level) or 6+ years with strong consulting exposure.
• Strong proficiency in Kotlin and modern Android development practices.
• Hands‑on experience with Jetpack Compose for native UI development.
• Experience with GitLab repositories, branching strategies and CI/CD pipelines.
• Solid understanding of Android architecture patterns such as MVVM, MVI and Clean Architecture.
• Experience integrating RESTful APIs, JSON parsing and using networking libraries like Retrofit.
• Familiarity with unit testing (JUnit) and UI testing (Espresso).
• Good knowledge of Material Design principles.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
