Approved Electrician – £55k‑£60k + Van & Fuel Card

About the role

We are recruiting an Approved Electrician for a well‑established infrastructure services business operating across the UK. The role is based in Glasgow and offers a competitive PAYE salary of £55,000‑£60,000 with realistic overtime, a company van, fuel card and door‑to‑door pay.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out electrical installation, inspection and testing on commercial and industrial sites, including fuel retail and forecourt environments.
• Perform reactive and remedial duties, liaising directly with clients to discuss progress and identify further service needs.
• Complete test certifications, RAMS documentation and other required paperwork to the required standard.
• Represent the business professionally on‑site and work independently while being supported by a wider engineering team.

Required profile

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical Installation (C&G 2330).
• 18th Edition Certification.
• C&G 2391 (Inspection & Testing) qualification.
• JIB Gold Card or ECS Gold Card.
• Valid, clean UK driving licence and right to work in the UK.
• Strong commitment to health and safety and a confident, self‑starting attitude.

Required skills

• Hands‑on electrical experience in commercial or industrial settings.
• Competence in completing RAMS documentation.
• Ability to produce accurate test certifications and related paperwork.

What we offer

• Base salary £43,000‑£45,000 depending on qualifications, plus overtime to reach £55,000‑£60,000 total earnings.
