Architect

About the role

We are partnering with a well‑established architectural practice in Worthing to find a talented Architect. The role involves leading design and technical delivery across residential, commercial, education and public sector projects, working within a collaborative studio that values sustainable, high‑quality design.

Key responsibilities

• Lead design and technical delivery for a variety of project types.
• Produce design proposals, planning submissions and detailed drawing packages.
• Manage projects through the RIBA Plan of Work, meeting deadlines and budgets.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors and local authorities.
• Prepare planning, building‑regulation and construction documentation.
• Coordinate project teams and support successful delivery.
• Mentor junior team members as required.

Required profile

• ARB‑registered Architect with experience in a UK practice.
• Strong knowledge of UK Building Regulations and planning processes.
• Proven ability to manage projects through multiple RIBA stages.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Passion for innovative, high‑quality architecture.
