Architectural Assistant (Part II) – London

About the role

We are partnering with a well‑known London architectural practice to recruit a Part II Architectural Assistant. The role offers the chance to work on a varied portfolio of residential, workplace, hospitality, mixed‑use and refurbishment projects from concept through to delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in design and technical development across all RIBA stages.
• Produce high‑quality architectural drawings, BIM models and presentation material using Revit.
• Support planning applications, design development packages and technical drawing production.
• Coordinate project information with architects, consultants and external stakeholders.
• Prepare presentation documents, reports and visual material for client and planning submissions.
• Attend project meetings, site visits and design reviews.
• Contribute to design discussions and concept development.
• Help ensure projects are delivered on programme and meet quality expectations.

Required profile

• RIBA Part II qualification in Architecture.
• Minimum 1 year post‑Part II experience within a UK architectural practice.
• Strong understanding of UK Building Regulations and construction methodologies.
• Excellent communication, organisational and teamwork skills.
• Ambition to progress towards Part III qualification.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Revit and BIM environments.
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite.
• Knowledge of SketchUp.
• Familiarity with Enscape.
