Area Sales Manager – Boilers & Domestic Appliances

About the role

We are seeking a driven Area Sales Manager to lead sales of boilers and domestic appliances across Scotland. This field‑based position focuses on building strong relationships with merchants and installers while growing market share for a leading product portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and develop relationships with independent and national merchants.
• Increase sales and market share of boilers and domestic appliances within the territory.
• Build partnerships with plumbing and heating installers, contractors, and engineers.
• Deliver product training, promotional activities, and sales presentations.
• Identify new business opportunities and convert prospects into active customers.
• Work closely with merchant branches to maximise stock levels and customer engagement.
• Monitor competitor activity and provide market intelligence.
• Achieve and exceed sales targets and KPI objectives.

Required profile

• Proven field sales experience within heating, plumbing, HVAC, appliances, or building products.
• Experience selling through merchants and distribution channels.
• Strong relationship‑building and account management abilities.
• Commercially aware with a proactive approach to business development.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Full UK driving licence.
