Area Sales Manager – Construction & Lifting

About the role

We are seeking a proactive, autonomous Area Sales Manager to drive growth for our compact and sustainable lifting solutions across the UK. Based in the field with occasional visits to our head office, you will be the front‑line champion of our business development efforts.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within construction, heavy plant and lifting sectors.
• Map target customers and industries, maintaining accurate data in our CRM system.
• Develop and implement a sales strategy for our product and service portfolio.
• Oversee the full sales cycle, handing over qualified leads to account managers where appropriate.
• Monitor industry trends, competitor activity and sales performance metrics.

Required profile

• Proven track record in sales, preferably within construction, heavy equipment, mining or related sectors.
• Experience engaging decision‑makers and generating business from heavy plant, cranes, hoists, scissor lifts, commercial vehicles, etc.
• Self‑motivated, able to work autonomously and thrive in a new‑business focused environment.

What we offer

• Basic salary up to £55,000 per year
• Uncapped bonus/commission (approximately £7,500 in year 1)
