Area Sales Manager – Kitchens (South East England)

About the role

The Area Sales Manager – Kitchens will lead field sales for a specialist kitchen manufacturer, focusing on independent retail showrooms across South and South‑East England. You will balance account management with aggressive new‑business development.

Key responsibilities

• Sell the company’s kitchen range to independent retail showrooms, builders merchants and housebuilders.
• Manage approximately 30 trading accounts (c. £1.2 m turnover), spending 30‑40% of time on account management.
• Drive new‑business acquisition, targeting £100 k of new revenue per month after six months (60‑70% of time).
• On‑board 15‑20 new independent retail showrooms to meet run‑rate targets.
• Spend four days a week on the road, completing 4‑5 customer visits per day, with the remainder working from home.

Required profile

• Experience in the KBB/kitchen market, preferably with contacts in independent retail showrooms.
• Proven track record as a new‑business hunter and ability to thrive on winning new clients.
• Resilient, results‑oriented, organised and well‑presented.

• Basic salary £30,000‑£35,000 per year.
