About the role
We are looking for a passionate, results‑driven Area Sales Manager to lead our Field Sales Consultants across the North England territory, covering Newcastle and Cumbria. In this role you will drive revenue growth, coach a high‑performing team and represent Würth UK’s market‑leading assembly and fastening solutions.
Key responsibilities
- Inspire and lead a team of Field Sales Consultants, spending at least 70 % of time in the field.
- Develop and execute a business plan with SMART goals to achieve monthly sales, gross profit and KPI targets.
- Grow the business through account management, customer retention and new customer acquisition.
- Analyse sales data, identify trends and implement continuous improvement actions.
- Build strong relationships with existing customers and attract new business using consultative sales techniques.
- Train, coach and mentor team members, allocating 30 % of time to remote work and planning.
Required profile
- Proven experience leading and motivating sales teams to exceed targets.
- Strong consultative sales background with a track record of results.
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel extensively across the UK.
- Excellent communication, organisational and customer‑service skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and deliver results.
