Asset Controller

About the role

Flogas is seeking an Asset Controller to manage its LPG cylinders, tanks and related assets across the UK. You will play a key part in ensuring assets are tracked, allocated and retrieved efficiently while supporting the company’s transition to renewable energy.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor cylinder turnover, allocations and volume growth by customer and sector.
• Liaise with sales teams and customers, conducting annual reviews with large distributors and national accounts.
• Conduct regular site visits with Site Managers to review asset performance.
• Support Operations in timely retrieval of cylinders from waste streams and ex‑customers.
• Collaborate with waste‑management representatives to resolve cylinder handling issues.
• Work with UKLPG, police, legal, fire brigade, port authorities and other agencies on unauthorised handling, filling, disposal, scrapping or export of cylinders, including evidence gathering.
