Assistant Accountant – Cash Management

About the role

As an Assistant Accountant in the Cash Management team, you will support the day‑to‑day handling of company bank accounts and help maintain the group’s financial liquidity. This position offers exposure to a fast‑growing online gambling business and the chance to develop a broad set of finance skills.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily cash flow and ensure liquidity across the group.
• Reconcile daily cash payments to maintain accurate financial data.
• Prepare and contribute to financial reports for senior management and board‑level reporting.
• Create interest reports used for internal analysis and financial accruals.
• Support ad‑hoc finance projects and the implementation of new cash‑management processes.

Required profile

• Detail‑oriented with strong analytical abilities.
• Proactive problem‑solver and effective communicator.
• Excellent work ethic and attention to detail.
• GCSE Maths grade C/5 or above.
• Willingness to work in a hybrid environment while maintaining standards.

Required skills

• Confident use of Microsoft Excel, including handling large data sets.
• Knowledge of accounting processes and their business impact.
