Assistant Accountant (French & English) – Multinational Firm

About the role
We are looking for a bilingual Assistant Accountant to join our Accounting Expertise division. Working under a Senior Accountant, you will support a diverse portfolio of clients in both French and English, handling day‑to‑day accounting tasks across multiple sectors.
Key responsibilities
- Perform daily bookkeeping, including data entry, account matching and checking.
- Reconcile client accounts and bank statements.
- Prepare and file VAT returns.
- Compile tax declarations for various jurisdictions.
- Provide advisory support to clients on accounting and financial matters.
Required profile
- Fluent in French and English.
- Previous experience in an accounting firm.
- Detail‑oriented and well‑organized.
- Relevant qualification such as BTS, DUT in Accounting, AAT or part‑qualified ACCA (a plus).
- Team player comfortable collaborating with colleagues in London, Lisbon, Porto, Saint‑Germain‑en‑Laye and Paris.
