Assistant Branch Manager – Blairgowrie (6 Month FTC)

About the role

Travis Perkins is recruiting an Assistant Branch Manager for its Blairgowrie branch in Perth and Kinross. The post is a six-month fixed-term, full-time position with competitive pay, bonus and benefits. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 7.30am to 5pm, with alternate Saturday mornings from 8am to 12pm.

Key responsibilities

• Support the day-to-day running of the branch and lead colleagues to deliver excellence.
• Drive daily sales activity and meet targets to improve branch profitability.
• Help set standards across the branch and build strong customer relationships.
• Motivate and coach colleagues to reach their potential.
• Keep branch operations smooth and efficient, including the fleet of vehicles, the tool hire department and the Benchmarx showroom.

Required profile

• Relevant experience and the ability to motivate and develop teams.
• Strong people skills, organisation and attention to detail.
• A commitment to safety, team wellbeing and high customer service standards.
• Relevant industry experience helps, but a confident sales leader from another customer-facing industry is also welcome.
