Assistant Director - Financial Diligence

About the role

EY-Parthenon is seeking an Assistant Director to join its Financial Diligence team. You will work on high‑profile IPOs and transaction projects, collaborating with cross‑service line teams to assess target companies' financial health and provide actionable insights to clients.

Key responsibilities

• Understand key business drivers and co‑develop due‑diligence approaches with clients.
• Project‑manage multidisciplinary teams, ensuring timely delivery of reports, presentations and client discussions.
• Gather, verify and assess financial information to formulate conclusions and recommendations.
• Prepare and review deliverables, including written reports and presentations.
• Collaborate with internal EY departments in the UK and internationally to build multi‑disciplinary teams.
• Travel within the UK and potentially abroad as project needs dictate.

Required profile

• Proven experience in financial due diligence, transaction advisory or related finance consulting.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
• Excellent client‑facing and communication skills.
• Ability to lead and motivate project teams.
• Willingness to travel for client engagements.
