Assistant Finance Manager – Financial Accountant (Family Office)

About the role

Join a growing, diversified family office that controls around 20 holding companies. You will be the key finance point for commercial investment flows ranging from £1m to £7m, working closely with the CFO and Finance Director.

Key responsibilities

• Own day‑to‑day and end‑to‑end accounting for multiple entities, including AP, AR, cash‑flow, month‑end, year‑end and reporting.
• Prepare and review financial statements and management reports for each holding.
• Collaborate with business leaders to provide financial insight that influences investment decisions.
• Support multi‑entity consolidation and handle foreign‑exchange transactions.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of accounting experience (qualified by experience or part‑qualified).
• Proven ability to manage AP, AR, cash‑flow and financial close across several entities.
• Strong commercial awareness and the capacity to adapt and solve problems without rigid process manuals.
• Full‑time office presence with one remote day per month.
