Assistant Manager – Bar, Lounge & Casual Dining

About the role

We are seeking a confident, hands‑on Assistant Manager to support the Lounge Manager in delivering a stylish customer lounge experience that blends bar service and casual dining within an international travel setting in Central London.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate day‑to‑day lounge, bar and dining operations.
• Inspire, coach and develop team members to achieve high standards.
• Deliver warm, attentive and personalised customer service.
• Manage service flow during busy, high‑footfall periods.
• Handle guest feedback and resolve issues promptly.
• Ensure compliance with operational, safety and brand standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience in bar, lounge, restaurant or casual‑dining environments, preferably in a supervisory or assistant‑manager role.
• Strong people‑development and coaching abilities.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, high‑volume setting.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Flexible approach to shifts, including early starts and late finishes.

• Salary of £37,000 per annum plus a performance bonus up to £6,000‑£7,000.
