Assistant Manager – Bowling Venue

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic Assistant Manager to lead the customer and team experience at our busy bowling venue in Oxford. You will work closely with the General Manager to ensure high standards of service, safety and profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Coach, mentor and motivate team members on each shift.
• Maintain a safe, fun and welcoming environment for customers.
• Support the General Manager with back‑of‑house duties and front‑of‑house operations.
• Drive financial targets and uphold service standards.
• Work hands‑on across all areas of the centre, including night and weekend shifts.

Required profile

• At least 12 months’ management experience in a fast‑paced, customer‑facing setting (leisure, hospitality or retail).
• Passion for delivering excellent customer service.
• Proven ability to inspire and develop large teams.
• Willingness to work nights and weekends.
• Strong ambition to succeed and grow within the business.
