Assistant Manager – Corporate Tax (CTA qualified)

About the role

This position sits at the centre of the firm’s corporate tax delivery, working directly with the Corporate Tax Partner and the Audit & Accounts team. It offers a blend of compliance work and advisory exposure, ideal for a CTA‑qualified professional seeking technical depth and broader client experience.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Audit team on engagements and prepare/review corporation tax computations.
• Attend client meetings as the corporate tax voice and act as the day‑to‑day tax point of contact for auditors.
• Support audit planning, engagement scoping and deliver tax training to audit staff.
• Work with the Partner on complex advisory projects, including technical research, analysis and client recommendations.
• Participate in group restructures, acquisitions, MBOs, EOTs, international tax matters, capital allowances and tax planning.
• Gradually take ownership of advisory work as experience and confidence grow.

Required profile

• CTA qualification with solid corporate tax experience.
• Desire to develop both compliance and advisory skills without being siloed.
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to communicate tax implications to clients and audit teams.
• Willingness to work on‑site with clients and audit teams as needed.
