Assistant Manager, Forensic Accounting

About the role

Quantuma Advisory Limited, part of K3 Advisory Group, is recruiting an Assistant Manager, Forensic Accounting (disputes, investigations and valuations) in Birmingham. The team works on a range of projects and supports experts on cases, with autonomy and career development support from the Managing Directors. Quantuma is merging with KR8 Advisory in the coming months, creating further progression opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare valuation calculations using cost, market and income approaches, including researching comparable deals and suitable indices
• Support experts in forensic engagements such as shareholder disputes, M&A disputes, matrimonial disputes, negligence claims and personal injury and clinical negligence claims
• Draft expert witness and advisory reports on disputes involving valuation, loss of profits and similar issues
• Build relationships with referrers and clients through excellent client service and attending events

Required profile

• A qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA)
• Some experience in forensic accounting or valuations, ideally as a recently qualified accountant
• Those without direct forensic experience but with experience in corporate finance, due diligence or insolvency are also welcome
