Manager, Forensic Accounting

About the role

Quantuma Advisory Limited, part of K3 Advisory Group, is recruiting an experienced Forensic Accountant to join its Disputes, Investigations and Valuations team in Birmingham. The team has grown significantly and is expanding as workflows grow. Work comes mainly from UK and overseas law firms, covering disputes such as shareholder, M&A and breach of contract cases, as well as personal injury, matrimonial, compulsory purchase, fraud and criminal matters, and it collaborates with insolvency and corporate finance colleagues.

The team will merge with KR8 Advisory in the coming months to become one of the UK's leading advisory firms. The role is hybrid and full-time, and you will work closely with named experts and senior staff on cases, with autonomy and career development support.

Key responsibilities

• Obtain and analyse financial information
• Research companies, businesses and industry sectors
• Prepare parts of expert reports and other written reports for legal proceedings or for advice to solicitors and clients
• Liaise with solicitors, barristers and clients as part of litigation support
• Assist in developing and training more junior staff
• Participate in marketing events
• Support Managing Directors, Directors and Senior Managers as needed

Required profile

• ACA, ACCA or equivalent qualification
• Relevant experience in Forensic Accounting, ideally within a recognised Disputes / Valuations practice
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an inquisitive mind
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately under tight deadlines
• Strong organisational and communication skills, able to support multiple assignments and work with the wider national team
• Team player who enjoys collaboration
