About the role

Join Pret a Manger as an Assistant Manager on the shop floor at Manchester Airport Terminal 2. You will support the General Manager in delivering a seamless customer experience, high‑quality food, and a positive team environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the General Manager with daily store operations, ensuring smooth service flow.
• Lead, motivate and coach front‑of‑house staff to provide exceptional customer service.
• Maintain health, safety and food‑hygiene standards at all times.
• Oversee stock ordering, stock takes and waste‑reduction initiatives.
• Handle cash, manage tills and support financial reporting.
• Step in on the coffee machine or service line when busy, after training.
• Resolve customer issues promptly and professionally.
