Assistant Manager Grant Audit – French/Spanish speaker

About the role

This position offers a unique opportunity to apply audit expertise to international development grant programmes. You will work with a multilingual team that supports organisations such as the United Nations, the World Bank, and European Commission agencies.

Key responsibilities

• Lead opening and closing meetings with clients and beneficiaries, presenting audit findings clearly.
• Plan and execute audit assignments, tailoring approaches to contractual terms and reference documents.
• Manage fieldwork teams, both on‑site and virtually, across multiple countries.
• Identify non‑compliance issues, document findings, and produce detailed audit reports.
• Act as the primary client liaison for large, country‑wide audit engagements.
• Deliver high‑quality work within tight deadlines while coordinating travel up to 40% of the time.

Required profile

• Fluent in English and proficient in French or Spanish (German also acceptable).
• Strong proactive attitude with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Excellent communication skills for regular interaction with senior managers, directors, and international partners.
• Willingness to travel internationally as required by assignments.
