About the role
The Assistant Manager supports the Community Manager in delivering an outstanding resident experience and ensures smooth day‑to‑day operations of the property. This role combines resident interaction, financial oversight, and property maintenance to create a vibrant, safe, and welcoming community.
Key responsibilities
- Act as a role model by demonstrating Greystar’s core values.
- Engage proactively with residents, address inquiries, and exceed service expectations.
- Monitor resident feedback, online reviews, and resolve complaints promptly.
- Assist the Community Manager with team communications, assessments, and development.
- Track rent payments, chase arrears, and promote tenancy extensions.
- Conduct periodic apartment inspections, manage evictions, and apply late fees as required.
- Process vendor invoices, coordinate with finance, and ensure timely payments.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, housing regulations, and leasing laws.
- Perform regular community walk‑throughs to maintain safety, cleanliness, and aesthetic standards.

- Ability to monitor financial performance and manage rent collections.
