Assistant Manager – Premium Fashion Retail

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Manager to lead a premium fashion retail store in Brighton. The role combines commercial responsibility with a strong focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and develop a high‑performing retail team, fostering a customer‑centric culture.
• Drive overall commercial performance by meeting sales targets, productivity goals and KPIs.
• Deliver personalised, memorable service to every customer.
• Coach, train and provide regular feedback to staff, managing performance.
• Recruit, onboard and build a talent pipeline for future growth.
• Lead from the shop floor during peak periods, modelling best practice.
• Analyse sales data and store reports to identify improvement opportunities.
• Maintain high standards of visual presentation, compliance and store operations.

Required profile

• Proven retail management experience, preferably as an Assistant Manager.
• Track record of achieving sales growth and meeting KPIs.
• Strong leadership, people‑development and communication skills.
• Hands‑on, proactive approach with excellent organisational abilities.
• Flexibility to work weekends and adapt to a fast‑paced environment.
