About the role
JD Sports is looking for an Assistant Manager to support store operations and drive performance. Working closely with the Store Manager, you will help deliver the premium JD standard and contribute to achieving sales targets.
Key responsibilities
- Support the Store Manager with daily store operations to meet sales targets and core KPIs.
- Lead and guide colleagues on the shop floor, allocating tasks and ensuring high‑quality service.
- Maintain JD standards throughout the day, including visual merchandising and store presentation.
- Assist in driving commercial performance and operational excellence.

- Confident leadership with the ability to motivate a team.
- Strong commercial awareness and focus on results.
- Commitment to delivering excellent customer experiences.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced retail environment.
