Assistant Project Manager – Construction

About the role

We are seeking an Assistant Project Manager with a construction background to support the delivery of nationwide infrastructure and commercial projects. You will work closely with the Construction Director, Contracts Managers and site teams, gaining experience that will prepare you for a future Project Manager position.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in delivering construction projects from handover through to completion.
• Coordinate with clients, subcontractors and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution.
• Produce project programmes, progress reports and action trackers.
• Support commercial reporting, cost control and maintain project documentation.
• Attend progress meetings and monitor performance across multiple sites.

Required profile

• Construction background with experience supporting project delivery.
• Experience on commercial, infrastructure or multidisciplinary projects.
• Organised, commercially aware and confident communicating with stakeholders.
• Aspiring to progress into a Project Manager role.
