Assistant Store Manager

About the role

Dreams Ltd is looking for an enthusiastic Assistant Store Manager to join its Horwich store. You will work closely with the Store Manager to drive sales, support the team and ensure every customer finds the perfect bed.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in day‑to‑day management of the store team to maximise sales and customer satisfaction.
• Create a positive store environment, share best practices and promote team engagement.
• Lead the store in the Store Manager’s absence, setting goals, coaching staff and achieving targets.
• Motivate and inspire colleagues, recognising performance and encouraging development.
• Maintain high store standards by regularly walking the floor and ensuring an exceptional customer experience.

Required profile

• Previous retail or commercial sales experience, preferably with store and team management responsibilities.
• Commercially minded and results‑driven with strong decision‑making ability.
• Highly motivated, comfortable working to performance targets and leading by example.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage both customers and staff.
