Assistant Store Manager – Lifestyle Retail

About the role

We are looking for an ambitious Assistant Store Manager to join our contemporary lifestyle retail brand in Witney. You will help run the store day‑to‑day, lead a dedicated team and ensure a premium, customer‑first experience in a design‑led environment.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily store operations, including stock management, staffing schedules, compliance and health & safety.
• Lead, motivate and develop a team, fostering a performance‑driven culture.
• Deliver strong commercial results by driving sales, KPIs and overall profitability.
• Maintain high visual‑merchandising standards and store presentation.
• Recruit, coach and retain team members, ensuring excellent customer service.
• Represent the brand professionally, upholding its values and aesthetic.

Required profile

• Proven retail leadership experience, ideally as an Assistant Store Manager or senior supervisor.
• Passion for lifestyle retail such as fashion, interiors or design‑led products.
• Confident communicator who sets clear standards and inspires performance.
• Commitment to delivering an elevated, personalised customer experience.
