Assistant Tax Manager

About the role

We are looking for an Assistant Tax Manager to join our multinational tax team and support regional tax compliance across selected EMEA countries. You will act as the senior tax point of contact, ensuring that tax processes are accurate, timely, and aligned with Group standards while working closely with country CFOs, finance leads, and external advisors.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee tax compliance processes and coordinate reporting for assigned EMEA jurisdictions.
• Manage external tax advisors to guarantee timely and accurate filings.
• Review tax submissions for completeness, accuracy, and conformity with Group policies.
• Support the implementation of tax governance controls, internal TCF, SAO/CCO requirements, and other local obligations.
• Assist in coordinating tax audits, preparing documentation, and responding to tax authorities.
• Provide tax support for M&A transactions, due diligence, and post‑deal integration.
• Contribute to corporate restructuring initiatives and continuous improvement projects.
• Build strong relationships with finance teams, business stakeholders, and external advisors.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field; Master’s in Tax or ACA/CPA preferred.
• 5+ years of corporate tax experience in large multinational organisations or Big Four firms.
• Proven experience in corporate tax compliance, tax planning, international tax and transfer pricing.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage tight deadlines.
• Fluency in English; additional EMEA languages are a plus.
