Associate Cloud Consultant – AWS & Azure

About the role

RT Consulting is seeking experienced AWS and Azure professionals to join its Associate Consulting workforce. You will work on public‑sector projects across Defence, Policing, and Government, delivering secure, scalable cloud solutions in regulated environments.

Key responsibilities

• Support cloud migrations, platform modernisation and multi‑cloud adoption for UK public‑sector clients.
• Design and implement secure landing zones, automation pipelines and cloud governance frameworks.
• Deliver cloud security solutions and ensure platform reliability and compliance.
• Collaborate with client teams on‑site (2‑3 days per week) while leveraging hybrid working where permitted.
• Provide technical expertise across AWS, Azure and hybrid environments.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an AWS or Azure Engineer/Architect or Cloud Platform Specialist.
• Comfort working in regulated, secure settings with active Standard Check (SC) vetting.
• Strong understanding of cloud‑native and hybrid platform delivery.
• Ability to apply best practices in automation, governance and secure operations.
