Associate Construction Engineer

About the role

We are seeking an Associate to join our expanding Construction Engineering team in our London office. This position provides a senior‑leadership opportunity within a fast‑growing consultancy that delivers innovative, sustainable solutions for infrastructure and building projects. You will work closely with directors, clients, contractors and multidisciplinary design teams, contributing to the continued growth of the UK practice.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the technical delivery of construction engineering projects, ensuring design quality, constructability and compliance.
• Engage with clients and contractors to develop and refine engineering solutions that meet cost, schedule and performance targets.
• Support business development by identifying opportunities and assisting in the expansion of the UK practice.
• Provide commercial insight, manage project budgets and contribute to people development within project teams.
• Collaborate with architects, civil, structural and geotechnical engineers to deliver integrated project outcomes.

Required profile

• Experienced engineer with a proven track record in construction engineering on complex projects.
• Demonstrated ability to lead technical teams and interact effectively with senior stakeholders.
• Strong commitment to delivering projects on time, within budget and to high quality standards.
• Ability to work in a collaborative, fast‑paced consultancy environment.
