Associate Corporate Counsel – Music & Entertainment Law

About the role

Amazon Music is seeking an Associate Corporate Counsel to join its legal team in London. You will provide primary legal support to the UK and EU music business, working closely with US counterparts and other Amazon entertainment teams. The role offers the chance to tackle complex licensing, regulatory, and commercial challenges in a fast‑growing media environment.

Key responsibilities

• Negotiate and draft complex licensing, distribution, and other commercial agreements.
• Provide strategic guidance on regulatory matters, including compliance with new laws and industry developments.
• Lead strategic projects and advise on product initiatives across the music business.
• Collaborate internationally with business and legal stakeholders.
• Occasional travel as required.

Required profile

• License to practice law in Europe, the US, or another common‑law jurisdiction.
• 3+ years post‑qualification legal experience.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills with a business‑partner mindset.
• Ability to work proactively, meet deadlines, and deliver on projects independently.

Required skills

• Proficiency in using AI for legal research.
• Experience with AI‑driven contract analysis.
• Capability to perform AI‑based document review.
