About the role
Precision AQ is seeking an enthusiastic, highly skilled Associate Director to join its Global Dossier and Value Communications team. The role is ideal for an experienced market access or medical writer passionate about communicating healthcare innovation and shaping evidence‑based value narratives that support patient access to new technologies.
Key responsibilities
- Act as the lead writer on projects, delivering fully referenced, evidence‑based content to high standards and within agreed timelines.
- Manage personal and team workload, plan deliverables and ensure smooth execution across multiple concurrent workstreams.
- Develop a wide range of market access deliverables across therapeutic areas, including JCA and HTA submissions, global value dossiers, AMCP dossiers, value‑proposition slide decks and objection handlers.
- Lead business‑development activities independently, targeting a £350,000 annual revenue goal.
- Maintain the highest quality standards through rigorous writing, editing and quality‑control processes, and shape the strategic direction of deliverables.
- Conduct desk research, literature reviews, data validation and reference management using client‑approved systems.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary internal teams, external experts, clients and key opinion leaders throughout project lifecycles.
- Support team growth by recruiting, mentoring junior and mid‑level writers and developing training materials.
Required profile
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant industry experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- A life‑sciences degree (or equivalent) with demonstrable experience developing market‑access materials such as JCA, HTA, global value dossiers and value‑proposition deliverables.
- Experience managing and/or mentoring writers.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and bibliographic software (e.g., EndNote).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to assimilate complex information quickly.
- Strong organisational skills, autonomy and the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, evolving environment.
- High attention to detail, integrity and a commitment to confidentiality.
