About the role
We are seeking an Associate Research Director to lead sensory and consumer research projects for FMCG clients. Reporting to the Research Director, you will manage multiple accounts, oversee complex projects and develop a team of Research Managers.
Key responsibilities
- Own 3‑4 FMCG product testing accounts, ensuring client retention, satisfaction and revenue growth.
- Develop and execute proactive plans to mitigate risks and capture opportunities within accounts.
- Lead the creation and delivery of complex proposals, tenders and regional/global projects, applying best‑practice methodologies.
- Provide strategic, story‑driven recommendations based on client feedback, market trends and project performance.
- Line‑manage 2‑3 Research Managers, allocate workloads, plan resources and mentor team members.
Required profile
- Minimum 3 years of experience in consumer or sensory research, preferably within FMCG product testing.
- Hands‑on experience with core product testing methods such as Home Use Tests (HUTs), Central Location Tests (CLTs) and In‑Depth Interviews (IDIs).
- Strong background in quantitative consumer research methodologies.
