About the role
A leading practice in the East Midlands, based in Nottingham, is looking for an Associate Tax Director to take ownership of a business service line. The role suits someone with experience working with OMB or SME clients who is a confident finance leader able to give insightful advice that strengthens the practice. The position is permanent.
Key responsibilities
- Manage a client portfolio of owner-managed businesses
- Support partners in delivering tax advisory
- Manage a well-established finance team, including appraisals and coaching
- Advise clients on restructuring and planning
- Continuously improve the delivery and quality of work
- Build and maintain strong client relationships
- Carry out ad-hoc tasks as required
Required profile
- ACA, ACCA or CTA qualification
- Previous experience in mixed or corporate tax
- Strong technical knowledge and confident advisory communication
