Associate – UK, Irish & South African Banks

About the role

Join Lloyds Banking Group’s Global Banks, Specialist Finance & Intermediaries team as an Associate supporting a portfolio of UK banks, building societies, Irish banks and South African banks. You will work in a hybrid environment, collaborating with relationship directors and product specialists to deliver complex banking solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Support the delivery of Transaction Banking, Liquidity, Foreign Exchange, Debt Capital Markets, Structured Solutions and Repo services for assigned clients.
• Identify growth opportunities and deepen client relationships across the portfolio.
• Collaborate with Product, Risk and Client Services teams to design and implement tailored solutions.
• Analyse financial performance, market data and client trends to inform strategic decisions.

Required profile

• 1‑2 years of experience in a banking coverage or product role.
• Solid understanding of banking products and the ability to match client needs with appropriate solutions.
• Proven relationship‑building and communication skills with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ability to analyse financial information and market trends.
