About the role

Join a friendly, independent accountancy firm in Hoddesdon as a Semi‑Senior professional splitting time between audit delivery and accounts preparation. The position offers a balanced mix of client‑facing audit work and in‑office financial reporting, supporting your progression toward professional qualifications while respecting work‑life balance.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver audit engagements for a diverse portfolio of clients, including site visits across Hertfordshire and London.
• Prepare statutory accounts and management accounts, ensuring accurate financial reporting.
• Maintain clear documentation of audit procedures and findings.
• Collaborate with senior team members to support client relationships and service quality.

Required profile

• AAT Level 3 or 4 qualification, or currently studying towards ACA/ACCA.
• Minimum 3 years experience within an accountancy practice.
• Strong audit exposure preferred, but solid accounts experience is also valued.
• Motivated, ambitious and eager to develop within a supportive team environment.
