Audit & Accounts Senior

About the role

We are seeking a confident Audit & Accounts Senior to join a well‑established accountancy practice in Beaconsfield. You will work across a varied portfolio of clients, delivering audit and accounting services from day one.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and deliver audit and accounts assignments for a diverse client base.
• Prepare statutory accounts in line with UK accounting standards and compliance requirements.
• Build and maintain strong professional relationships with clients, responding to queries confidently.
• Contribute to audit planning and completion, taking ownership of each assignment.
• Collaborate with the wider team, supporting colleagues and fostering a positive team environment.

Required profile

• Minimum three years’ experience in an accountancy practice.
• Qualified by experience or holding a professional qualification (ACA, ACCA or equivalent).
• Strong knowledge of UK accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Proven ability to handle a varied client portfolio with professionalism.
• Excellent communication skills and confidence in client‑facing situations.
• Proactive, organised approach with strong attention to detail.
