About the role
You will join a leading accountancy practice in the South West, supporting the delivery of statutory audits for corporate clients while developing your leadership skills through mentoring of seniors and trainees.
Key responsibilities
- Planning and executing statutory audits for corporate clients, both on‑site and in‑office.
- Leading larger and more complex audit assignments and ensuring audit procedures are followed.
- Managing on‑site audit teams, supervising junior staff and providing guidance.
- Supporting managers and partners on ad‑hoc projects and producing work for review.
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships and liaising to ensure smooth engagements.
Required profile
- ACA or ACCA qualified.
- Previous statutory audit experience in a professional practice.
- Organised with strong time‑management and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport quickly with clients.

- Experience with automated audit software and computer‑based accounting/tax programmes.
