About the role
Trial Balance Consulting is partnering with a leading accountancy practice in Taunton to recruit an Audit Assistant Manager. This full‑time role offers the chance to progress your audit career within a supportive team that values work‑life balance.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, undertake and finalise audit assignments for both new and existing clients.
- Collaborate with managers and partners to deliver high‑quality client service.
- Mentor junior audit colleagues, ensuring procedures are followed, hours are recorded accurately and budgets are met.
Required profile
- Qualified ACA or ACCA with demonstrable experience in practice, leading statutory audits.
- Proven ability to manage audit engagements from start to finish.
- Strong communication skills and a commitment to client service.
