Audit Semi‑Senior – Top 20 Firm in Guildford

About the role

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Audit Semi‑Senior to join a Top 20 firm in Guildford. You will work on a varied and prestigious client portfolio, gaining hands‑on responsibility from planning through to completion while receiving full study support for ACA or ACCA qualification.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with audit assignments from planning to completion, preparing audit working papers and supporting documentation.
• Carry out audit testing, identify key findings and ensure work complies with FRS 102, UK GAAP and auditing standards.
• Prepare statutory accounts and financial statements where required.
• Work directly with clients, respond to day‑to‑day queries and build strong client relationships.
• Support Audit Seniors and Managers with planning and completion work, and mentor junior team members.

Required profile

• Currently studying towards ACA or ACCA qualification.
• At least two years of UK external audit experience within practice.
• Good understanding of FRS 102 and UK GAAP.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Organised, able to manage multiple deadlines and a positive attitude towards learning.
• Full right to work in the UK.
