Audit Senior – Chartered Accountants (Banbury)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Audit Senior to join a well‑established chartered accountancy firm in Banbury. You will work closely with managers and partners to deliver high‑quality audit services to a diverse client portfolio while supporting junior team members.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute and finalise audit assignments across a varied client base.
• Supervise and review the work of junior audit staff.
• Liaise directly with clients to build and maintain strong relationships.
• Identify process‑improvement opportunities and provide value‑added recommendations.
• Assist with the preparation of statutory accounts where required.

Required profile

• ACA or ACCA qualified, or finalist level.
• Strong technical audit knowledge under UK and international auditing standards.
• Excellent communication and client‑relationship management skills.
• Previous experience working within a UK practice environment.
• Ability to manage own workload while supporting junior staff.
• Right to work in the UK (no sponsorship available).
