Audit Senior – Hybrid and Flexible Working

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Audit Senior to join our independent multi‑site chartered accountancy firm in Guildford. The role offers a varied portfolio of UK clients, including large and complex organisations, and provides the chance to develop strong client relationships while delivering high‑quality audit services.

Key responsibilities

• Manage audit assignments from planning through to completion.
• Lead on‑site audit teams and ensure audit conclusions are supported by a clear understanding of processes, circumstances and risks.
• Review audit work and mentor junior team members.
• Build and maintain effective relationships with clients, acting as a key point of contact during assignments.
• Collaborate with the Audit Manager, Partners and senior stakeholders to meet client deliverables.

Required profile

• ACA or ACCA qualified Audit Senior or Accountant.
• Based in Guildford or within a commutable distance.
• Strong, up‑to‑date audit experience, preferably from a Top 10/20 accountancy firm.
• Ability to build trusted, long‑term client relationships.
