Audit Senior

About the role

We are partnering with a dynamic, multi‑site accountancy practice in Fareham to find an Audit Senior. You will join a collaborative team delivering high‑quality audits for a diverse client base, with clear progression opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and deliver audit fieldwork on‑site and remotely for a varied portfolio of clients.
• Take ownership of audit sections, ensuring accuracy and quality throughout.
• Prepare well‑structured audit documentation in line with professional and regulatory standards.
• Identify risks and opportunities for improvement to support efficient audit delivery.
• Work closely with senior team members to meet deadlines and exceed client expectations.

Required profile

• ACA or ACCA qualified (or equivalent audit experience).
• Solid grounding in audit within an accountancy practice.
• Proactive, independent working style with strong attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build lasting client relationships.
• Team‑player who contributes to the development of junior colleagues.
