Audit Senior Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Audit Senior Manager to lead a diverse portfolio of clients in Central Bristol. The successful candidate will oversee external audits from planning through to completion, review statutory accounts and contribute to business advisory projects.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a varied client portfolio across multiple sectors.
• Lead external audits from planning, fieldwork, to final reporting.
• Review statutory accounts in accordance with UK GAAP and FRS 102.
• Mentor and develop junior staff members.
• Provide technical assistance and resolve complex audit queries.
• Engage in business advisory work and client meetings.
• Support business development initiatives and build strong client relationships.

Required profile

• ACA or ACCA qualified with post‑qualification experience.
• Proven experience leading and managing audits from start to finish.
• Strong knowledge of UK reporting standards (FRS 102, UK GAAP).
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
• UK residency.
